Programmes
Our eleven programmes provide food, education and integral care benefiting children from 4 months of age (or pregnant women) to the elderly; all of them come from areas with a low development index, high levels of poverty, some street dwellers, others with addiction problems, young people at social risk with problems of abandonment, abuse and drug consumption, others are young people with disability problems; we also provide support to people who are terminally ill patients with few or no resources at all, who are from rural areas of the country and come to the capital of San José for their treatment.
Children's Programme
Fundación Génesis Costa Rica currently offers 2 specialised programmes for children: The Children's Dining Room (CI) and the Integral Attention Centre (CAI).
Students’s Programme - Scholarships
The Scholarships programme of Fundación Génesis Costa Rica promotes and defends educational equality for the children of the Alajuelita Community.
Adult Programme
The programmes for adults, Women's Rehabilitation Centre and Genesis Street, are focused on helping to improve the quality of life of adult women and people in situations of homelessness.
Youth Programmes
Our programmes Community for Adolescent Boys (CAV), Community for Adolescent Girls (CAG) and Rehabilitation Centre for Adolescent Boys (CRV), have national recognition, endorsed by the National Children's Trust (Patronato Nacional de la Infancia).
Special Programmes
The special programmes Casa Club and Hogar Esperanza are specialised programmes for the care of people with disabilities and cancer patients with limited resources, who receive a welcoming environment and supportive space.
